2012 Zero Motorbike
Select First Bikes (a trading company of Select First Motorhomes Ltd) has just opened its new showroom in Broadstairs Kent, near the Westwood Cross shopping centre. The showroom is dedicated to electric transport, and has been appointed as the UKs first showroom based Zero Motorcycle dealer and will be stocking motorcycles and demonstrators from the range of 2011 and 2012 motorbikes.
In addition to Zero Motorcycles, Select First Bikes also holds the franchise for Freego electric cycles, and stocks Fast4ward cycles and electric scooters from the Retro range as well as other makes and models.
The large indoor showroom will be adding more dedicated electric transport in the coming months, as well as operating a workshop for the servicing and repairs of all electric transport products.
Branching out from its Motorhome based company, Director Graham Marchant feels that the time is right to move into electric transport, and feels that it runs well alongside its motorhome leisure business, where many motorhome owners are looking at electric transport to use with garage equipped motorhomes.
The electric motorbike has a large potential user database with farmers, gamekeepers, zoo parks, horse trainers all gaining a benefit from the silent operation, as well as the low running cost benefits which will influence commuters.
The showroom address is:
